By its own account it began as a YouTube slot channel, and it has grown into a small media business with its own forum, a podcast and a slot studio, DreamSpin. Who runs Fruity Slots?
The site says it was founded in April 2014 by Josh Green and Jamie Rosen and started as a YouTube slot-streaming channel. Both names check out against the UK company register: Companies House lists Joshua Simon Green as a director of the operating company since 17 April 2014, and James Rosen as a director from February 2018 to September 2019. The company was incorporated as Nikosh Limited and renamed BetUp Media Limited in February 2018.
Both founders came from the industry they now cover. By the site’s own account, Rosen was Head of Marketing at 888 and Green was Head of Affiliation at William Hill. Each held between 25% and 50% of the company until 18 May 2022, when a holding company, Betup Holdco Limited, became the controlling shareholder. The site’s advertiser disclosure says Rosen has final responsibility for its rankings and editorial standards.
The founders are no longer the main faces on stream. The current on-screen team listed by the site is Scotty, the head streamer; Aisley Leeman, a streamer and writer; and Benny, a streamer and social media manager. Behind them are a head of content, a video editor and William Barnes, who is listed as partner and chief technology officer.

Streams Charts puts the average audience at 463 viewers over the 30 days to 10 October, with individual streams averaging between about 270 and 740.
The platforms now carry different content. The main YouTube channel now describes itself as a home for IRL challenges and points viewers to Kick for live streams. The FS Gambles channel carries sessions filmed in pubs and bookmakers, and a September 2026 round-up mentions a visit to a Genting casino.
Which casinos does Fruity Slots work with?
Fruity Slots is open about how it makes money: its advertiser disclosure says it earns commission when visitors sign up at casinos through its links, usually as a one-off payment per player and sometimes as a share of revenue. No deal values are public.
The audience is split in two. The UK homepage promotes UK-facing brands such as Lottoland, Mega Riches, Midnite, Mr Vegas and BetMGM. The Kick panels link to Win Place Casino and BC.Game, and BC.Game and Thunderpick appear on the site’s “Rest of World” list. In 2026 the forum has promoted BC.Game with a referral code and weekly prizes, and a July 2026 post described a £5,000 stream balance there with a share of any winnings going to referred players. The post does not say who funded that balance.
Other partners promoted through forum giveaways include Zizobet, Cash Lounge, Jack-Pot Casino, Menace Casino, Los Vegas and Slots Temple.
Fruity Slots‘ biggest documented wins
The first three rows come from one trade source that took them from video titles; they are undated and we could not check them against the videos. Nothing here has been independently audited.

The site’s own big-wins page lists a few wins by team members without game or stake: £6,600 for Josh, 7,200x for Jamie and 3,100x for Scotty. The team also reports the dull results. Its August 2026 round-up records £250 staked on Happy Money Hens for £224 back.
Slots Fruity Slots plays
We found no stated personal favourites. Recent streams have featured Money Train 5 from Relax Gaming, 99 Royale from G.Games, Extra Chilli More Chilli from Big Time Gaming, 3 Cash Chameleons from 4ThePlayer and Big Bass Bonanza. The community’s Slot of the Year for 2025 in the Fruity Slots Awards was Le Cowboy from Hacksaw Gaming.
Bonus hunts are the staple format, usually with a contest to guess the total return. One in January 2026 spent £6,000 on 23 bonuses, and hunts in late 2025 were titled at €8,000 to €15,000. Stakes per spin are not published.
DreamSpin and other ventures
DreamSpin is a slot studio founded in 2023 by Green, Rosen and William Barnes of Hideous Slots. Its games are distributed through Light & Wonder and Yggdrasil, and its debut was exclusive to Sky Betting and Gaming. Titles so far include Buzz Thrill, Backstreet Wilds, Wizards of Wild Wood, Pirate Pigs, Aztec Tower and Alchemaniac. Companies House shows Dreamspin Limited, incorporated in May 2022, as controlled by Betup Holdco with Barnes as the other significant shareholder.
The affiliate site itself claims more than 2,500 slot reviews and a team of over ten people. There is merchandise too, which is offered as giveaway prizes.
Giveaways and community
The site claims to have given away more than £150,000 in community prizes since 2018, and its forum lists nearly 300 giveaway threads. Recent examples include a Pragmatic Play giveaway worth up to £10,000 with a trip to Dubai, posted in July 2025, and a €1,000 prize pool for the launch of Money Train 5 in September 2026. Casino giveaways usually require signing up through a Fruity Slots link and making a minimum deposit of £20.
Controversies and criticism
The main published criticism comes from another casino affiliate site, CasinosInCanada, which labels Fruity Slots a “paid promoter”. The same page says its own earlier suggestion that the channel used casino-provided balances does not hold, an argument that rests on UK regulation and not on account evidence, and it points to a February 2020 thread on the Casinomeister forum that questioned the promotion of casinos without a UK licence to UK viewers. We could not open that thread, and the page includes no response from Fruity Slots.
We looked for regulatory action and found none: no ruling by the Advertising Standards Authority and no Gambling Commission enforcement notice naming the channel in anything we opened. What can be observed is the pattern described above, with live slot play now on Kick, Twitch dormant since August 2025 and the main YouTube channel given over to IRL content. We found no statement from the team explaining the move.
Fruity Slots net worth
No credible estimate exists. Fruity Slots is a private company and we have not read its accounts; the one trade page that discusses its income offers only an unsourced guess. For streamers whose earnings have been reported, see our guide to the richest casino streamers.
Our rough estimate is $2 million to $8 million. It is an estimate for the business, reflecting a long-running channel, affiliate income and its own game studio. It is our own guess, not a disclosed or published figure.
